My name is Brianna Roskamp, and I am a mental health counselor passionate about guiding people toward understanding and embracing their emotions. I'm here to support you in your journey to personal growth and stronger connections.

About Me

My journey into mental health counseling began with a deep passion for understanding how people think, feel, and connect with each other. I started my career as an educator, earning my bachelor's degree in education from the University of Tampa. Working in schools across Hillsborough County, I found immense fulfillment in helping children and families navigate the challenges of growing up and learning together.

But my curiosity about the human mind and emotions didn't stop there. I decided to expand my impact by pursuing a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Troy University. This path has allowed me to support not just children and families, but individuals and couples at all stages of life, helping them to understand their emotions, improve their relationships, and lead more fulfilling lives.

Beyond my professional life, I’m just like you—a person with passions, hobbies, and a love for connection. I live in Parrish, Florida, with my husband and our three rescue cats, who keep life interesting and full of love. I’m an avid reader with a home library that I cherish, and I also enjoy crocheting, which brings me a sense of peace and creativity. Traveling and exploring new cultures is another passion of mine, as I believe that learning from others enriches both my personal and professional life.

I share these bits of my life with you because I believe that therapy is a deeply human experience. It’s important to me that you know I’m not just a therapist—I’m a person who understands that life is full of ups and downs. My goal is to create a welcoming and empathetic space where you feel comfortable being your true self, knowing that you’re in the hands of someone who genuinely cares.
